Jen LeBow’s Chocolate Chip Pound Cake Recipe
Preheat to 350 degrees
Mix:
1 ½ cups sugar
3 cups all purpose flour
1 T baking powder
¾ t salt
Add:
1 cup (2 sticks) softened unsalted butter
8 oz. softened cream cheese
½ cup half-and-half
Mix 90 seconds on low-medium speed.
Add:
2 eggs and mix for 20 seconds
Add:
2 (more) eggs
2 t vanilla
Mix for 20 seconds
Add:
2 cups chocolate chips and mix until combined.
Pour into tube pan with removable bottom.
Bake about 50 minutes—or until knife comes out with some moist crumbs.
Freezes well.
